Gentlemen...start your builds!
College Cyclery is proud to announce the inclusion of a room dedicated to custom bicycles at this year's Sacramento Autorama! Here at the shop, we love all things fast, sylish, and custom. Naturally, many of us have other interests than just our obsession with bicycles. Cars, motorcycles, heck...anything we can race, customize, or makes us look crazy for doing it!

College Cyclery Launches You Tube Page
Why reinvent the wheel? When College Cyclery thought about showing videos online, the choice was clear and our webmonkey immediately set out to load some content.
We know there's not much there now, but give us a few days or a week or so, and we promise to deliver the kind of content you'd expect from a top-notch custom bike shop.
Of course, if you have any really cool videos of your adverntures in cycling, please let us know. If you have a You Tube account, you can add us as your friend.

The Turkey Day Ride
This year went off without a hitch. Totally awesome day. The new venue at the Towe Museum was more than anyone could have hoped for. There had to have been 700+ participnts this year. Thanks to all that came and all of the wonderful businesses that contributed to this Sacramento tradition. These people truly are the heart and soul of the Saramento bike scene.
Please, patronize all of these classic businesses to ensure both thier longevity and that of our beloved Appetite Enhancement Ride. As always it was so great to see so many diverse groups of people from all walks of life come together over their love of bikes (and possibly pomegranate cider). See you next year! (gobble, gobble).

"Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day" this year went awesome and we had such a good time out there helping kids to get out on their bikes. The sun was out, the air was brisk, and trail conditions were perfect. Oh, and the kids did great out on the trail!

On December 2, 2006, the legendary custom car builder and designer,
George Barris graced us with his presence at College Cyclery. George
teamed up along with Nirve Bicycles to design his custom cruisers.
George utilized the classic backdrop of College Cyclery to film a
segment for his Barrisbilt.com web based television series. He spent a
considerable amount of time visiting with patrons and signing his
bicycles and memorabilia.
